Accumulate is an onchain protocol built to execute a single, fixed strategy. The strategy is simple: accumulate Bitcoin over time and never sell it.

Core Philosophy

This approach is inspired by MicroStrategy, which adopted Bitcoin as a long-term treasury reserve and committed to holding it through market cycles. That strategy proved that disciplined accumulation, when applied consistently, can outperform active decision making over time. Accumulate takes the same core idea and implements it fully onchain. Instead of relying on corporate governance, executives, or discretion, Accumulate enforces the strategy through predefined rules. Every action taken by the system exists for one purpose only: converting protocol activity into permanent Bitcoin accumulation while reducing the circulating supply of $ACCU.

What Accumulate Doesn’t Do

There is no treasury trading, no yield optimization, and no attempt to time markets.
Accumulate does not react to price movements or macro conditions. It does not rebalance, hedge, or rotate assets.
Bitcoin acquired by Accumulate is treated as a strategic reserve. Once Bitcoin enters the treasury, it is never sold.

Trustless by Design

By operating entirely onchain, Accumulate replaces trust in people with transparent, verifiable mechanics. The strategy does not change based on sentiment, leadership, or external pressure. It executes exactly as defined. This documentation explains how Accumulate works, what $ACCU represents, how Bitcoin is accumulated and held, and where control begins and ends.
Accumulate is designed for participants who understand long-term accumulation, fixed rules, and limited scope. It is not built for short-term speculation, active management, or yield-driven strategies.
